When to Use the Lien Holder Contact on the Medical Treatment Tab

The lien holder on the Medical Treatment Tab only needs to be filled in if the lien holder for that provider is a separate entity. Otherwise, you can leave it blank. It's tied to who the payee will be on the settlement tab when issuing checks to providers/lien holders. There is also a Lien Holder history in addition to a Provider history.
