- Where is CASEpeer data stored / hosted?
CASEpeer is hosted with (AWS) Amazon Web Services, the world’s leading cloud service provider. Your data is hosted exclusively in the United States, or redundant servers located in two different states. That means if one server goes down (due to an earthquake, for example), the other takes over service with no interruption to you and your firm.
- How often is my data backed up?
Your CASEpeer data is backed up regularly throughout the day. These backups of your data and files are stored on redundant servers, ensuring no data loss to your law firm. We have never experienced any data loss in all the years we’ve been serving law firms.
- Can I access my backups?
We store your backups for you securely. You can request a CSV backup of your data at any time.
- What is CASEpeer’s guaranteed uptime?
At CASEpeer, our service exceeds industry standards, with a historical 99.9% uptime. We know how important accessing your clients and cases is to your productivity, and dedicate extensive resources to ensuring the best possible uptime. In the very unlikely event that an interruption occurs, our team’s single priority will be getting our firms back up and running.
- Can I easily export my data out of CASEpeer if needed?
You can cancel at any time, and we help you to export your data. We are not going to hold your data hostage by any means.
- Can I restrict people from accessing CASEpeer from home?
Yes, you can limit the access of CASEpeer by IP address. You can authorize as many IP addresses as you need, and you can also give certain people permission to access from anywhere. Firm administrators will have this permission by default.
