Delete Private Mass Tort Case Types

How to delete Private Mass Tort case types.

• NOTE: This can only be done by a firm administrator or someone with the Administration Settings Page Access advanced permission.
• Verify Private Mass Tort is activated in your CASEpeer account. 
• Navigate to the  Icon in the top right corner of your account and select Private Mass Tort.

• A pop-up window will appear. 
• Click on the drop-down menu and select the Private Mass Tort Type you would like to delete.
• Click Delete. 

• A window with a warning will appear for you to confirm the deletion.
• This mass tort type will be deleted from the Mass Tort Type drop-down menu in the Add a New Case window as well as the Update Case Index window.
• NOTE: If there are any cases where the private mass tort type is in use, you will not be able to delete it until you remove or update the mass tort type on the cases listed in the confirmation message.
