Accept a Settlement Offer

How to accept an offer from an insurance company.

• Navigate to the Settlement Tab in the open case.
• Scroll down to the Settlement Proceeds section.
• Locate the offer you want to accept.
• Click on the arrow at the end of the offer row.
• Select Accept from the drop down menu.

• A pop-up window will appear. Select the status, enter in any relevant notes, and save. 

• The offer will now be marked as accepted on the current date. You will no longer be able to add new offers to the demand. If a check comes in for the demand, it can now be deposited into CASEpeer.
