Add UM/UIM Demand

How to add a demand for an uninsured or under-insured motorist.

• Navigate to the Settlement Tab.

• Select the arrow at the end of the Settlement Proceeds row, the first row under the Negotiations section.
• Select UM/UIM Demand. 

• A pop-up window will appear.
• Enter the demand information. If the plaintiff's insurance does not appear in the Client Insurance drop-down, add the client's insurance provider on the Client Tab first.
• Select Save.

• The new demand will appear under Settlement Proceeds as a UM/UIM demand.

• NOTE: The Projected value will update once an offer has been added to the demand and the Deposited, Liens & costs, and Net to Client, will update once the offer is accepted and the check is indicated as deposited.
