How to make changes to a case note.
- Editing case notes is a permission-based action and can only be done by a firm administrator or a user with the permission User Is Allowed To Edit Case Notes.
- Navigate to the Notes Tab of the case.
- Locate the note that needs to be edited and click on the dropdown arrow aligned with that note.
- Select Edit.
- A pop-up window will appear.
- Make the desired changes to the case note.
- Click Save.
- The changes will be reflected in the Case Notes.
- NOTE: The notes on a case are an important record. We do not allow users to edit case notes unless they have permission. If you added a note in error, see the instructions for deleting a case note.
