How to make sure the correct email pops up when clicking emails in CASEpeer.
Set Gmail as Default Email Browser in Chrome.

- Open Gmail in Chrome.
- Select the overlapping diamond icon in your browser’s url bar.
- Select Allow Gmail to open all email links, select Gmail and hit done.
- If you did not see the “overlapping diamond” icon click on the three-dot icon on the upper right-hand corner of the Chrome browser.
- Select settings.
- Click Advanced Settings located at the bottom of the screen.
- Go to Site Settings.
- Find Handlers and select Manage Handlers.
- Select Gmail from the Mailto dropdown and click done.
Using Windows 7 & 8.

- Go to the start menu.
- Select Control Panel.
- Go to Programs.
- Select Default Programs.
- Select Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
- You will see all the extensions and protocols with their current default programs.
- Find MAILTO protocol, you will see in the Current Default column what your computer email is defaulting to.
- Click Change Program and select which email system you want your computer to default to.
- Click OK.
- The page will load again and you’ll be able to see under the Current Default column the changes that have been made.
Using Windows 10
- Click on the Start Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Click on the System Icon.
- Click on the Default Apps menu item.
- You’ll see Email and below will be choose a default.
- Click on the email you would like your computer to default to.
Using a Mac.

- Open up Mac Mail, this will be standard on every Mac Product.
- Select Mail on the top toolbar.
- Go to Preferences.
- Click General. Or if you’re prompted to set up an email account, add your account, then choose Preferences from the Mail menu.
- Select your email system from the Default Email Reader menu.
